More work done on my ute in the last few weeks. I may be getting too picky, but i figure 'if ive done this much, i may as well', so its taking a while longer than illd like.

Thanks to the Subi Boyz for the replacement windscreen corner sections, muchos gracios. all went in without any major problems, although i had to beat them gently to get it to curve right, whilst lining up along the pillar. but all up, very happy with it, thanks again.

Ive also replaced the bar that runs under the rear windscreen, for attatching the harnesses to, as it wasnt straight, round, or attached very well. I used thicker wall tube and made it fit nice, just finished today, welding it in with the thicker 0.8mm wire, to get a good penetration and nice big, smooth welds, wich was fairly successfull.

still havent worked out how to fix the warping/bulging problem i made by patching the roof.

a few other bits and peices, but mainly working out the best way to strip the paint, probly to bare metal, without making a heap more work for myself...

pics soon
Cheers, Rohan M.

I needed to replace the bottom corners of the windscreen (who doesnt) since there was bog and rust and other knarly stuff there. I started on the passenger side first, and took a heap of progress shots, but my trusty camera put old thumbnails over the right photos:confused:, so i deleted these 'old fotos'. I 'may' have over compensated for this just a little on the drivers side.

Thankyou to Rick, Ross and mostly Steve, the Subi Boyz, for hammering me out the replacement section, which was very close to perfect, with only slight manipulation of the passenger side, and a bit of hammering on the drivers side, to make it all line up sweet.

Coming along Rohan.
I've got my doubts weather you'll get that new spreader bar past a scruiteneer as it's not supported by the main hoop.
Did you get some advice on that first?
