lol - not sure about that.
26 entries, I came 4th overall behind a V7 STi, A Evo 10 and an Evo 5.
But I was 1st in class (Pre93 4WD), 5 in my class, me, a Legacy, 2 Mitsi VR4's and a Mazda Familia 323 4WD
My best result to date - so I was stoked :-)

Thanks for the comments guys - but I have a tendancy to be a bit untidy - lol
I need to stay in the swept lines more rather than trying to make my own. The car is HEAPS better on gravel than last year, amazing the differance removing the rear sway bar and lowering the rear a bit has made. Also running more front brake bias and am getting better bite and less tail happy moments - all confidence building stuff

I have recently moved up to Northland in good ol' NZ so it has been a while since I had a skid.
Latest Event was on the weekend - good fun road, had an great result for me, even managed to beat most of the WRX's - lol

Looking really good mate
I won a passenger seat with Simon Evans a couple of years ago at Canberra rally for a stage :p
He said smooth as silk and testicles that clang are the two things you need for results in rally :D

He then proceeded to proove it to me

Nice work bro,if you were abit closer i'd probably donate you mine for the cause just to see another leone duke it out with the new boys. Seriously though it's not that easy taking on modern technology, but hey not everyone has $50k budget.

uh huh - out in the open more like it - you may be able to give him some tips on the rear suspension, currently has station wagon springs and shocks sending its wobbly bum skyward, needs dumping

Yeah I have an 87 RX with an EJ20G and dual range gearbox with a 5 stud conversion. Its running, but needs a few things before it gets re registered. Im at the moment lacking a shed to keep it in which isnt real good for the small amount of rust in it.

Its not gonna be a rally car like yours, but its gonna be quick and fun.

The rear suspension is fixable, my current issue is the front liberty struts that are striking on the inside of the strut tower. Did you have this issue?

I had this issue with my vortex. I'm also running 5 stud and liberty gx front struts. However I am using early wrx springs and top hats. They taper at the top and don't hit on the strut tower.

I'm not sure what model sorry I can't remember, but worth looking into.

Here's a pic just because.

But mine are striking on the front edge of the lower spring seat, so the way I see it, a tapered spring wont solve help because the bottom seat is the same.

Unless Im mistaken...

Isn't there an impreza strut that's a smaller diametre? Or I'm mistaken too...

I'm guessing a BFH is out of the question...
