floater05's DL (new member)

Post by floater05 » Wed May 05, 2010 7:03 pm

this is my 1985 DL

bought it for $500 just before easter. it hadn't been running for a while so i gave it a good service and replaced the clutch. its currently my daily driver but iv been using it on weekends for its excellent 4WD capabilities.

excuse the flat tyre lol and the missing rear bar.

the reason i bought it was to get me from A to B while i had my real pride and joy off the road. below.

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Once the magna is back on the road the subi will be used for recreational purposes only.
Have been reading into the 6 stud conversion... Would love to have some chunkier tyres. Might put some spotties on. But besides that I have no plans for it.
