Hey guys, i know the other thread has been going but its a bit hit and miss and all that crap so i though ti would start up a proper my car thread for it.
pictures speak a thousand words, so ill keep the info brief and let the pictures do most of the talking i spose.
1984 brumby. old ****d. but very minimal rust and best of all licenced.
Full conversion
FULL wiring harnes
FULL dash
Centre console
Seats
Engine
Gearbox
Rear diff
Front struts (coil overs shortly)
Front brakes
Rrear XT6 Brakes (hopefully very soon ex us if i can find some)
GTB 17" alloys

I need a car to get around for a few weeks as my cruiser just sold and waiting on my new car to be delivered so bodywork will commence as soon as the new daily arrives

I'm starting to itch again
Good stuff dave! I'm keen to know how you're going to run the heater box stuff with the WRX dash AND how you've got it to fit, I'd like to see the process if you could show it with some pics and maybe a small description.
Brumby's are HOT, especially when they're running the later 5 stud mags before you even look at a turbo EJ under the bonnet. I'd love to do something like this mate, but its time an money I don't have, plus I'm still finishing off Ruby Scoo. Maybe you could get plates that say something like NVMYUTE
Cheers

well i got kind of upset this afternoon when trying to install my stereo
the amps kept shutting off when i started the motor and it was doin my head in.
have discovered the alternator is charging at 16.1 volts
as im now completely out of money time and patience it has to wait for a while to get replaced,

just wondering if its got something to do with the fact its off an ej22? It was known to be working fine when i removed it(ie didnt fry anything on the original car)
then again the regulator could be stuffed. Anyone had any experences with this? Im curious, i know all the alternators are pretty similar apart from the plugs.

its stuffed or its wired in wrong. check the wiring first
