it is official my wife has this little ripper in spark silver

I took it for a drive and I want one, I will just have to be the driver as wifey doesn't like manual cars

and this one only comes in a six speed manual awwwwwwwwww.....

im pretty sure its single range... there isnt 6 speed manual for dual range i believe.

Yes.. S/R until they can make a strong enough D/R box to go behind the turbo diesel. Like you said Jules.. they have a huge torque range so it's not really needed.

So when can we take it fishing

Just be so careful when refueling as some stations have similar looking nozzles at each end of bowser bank, flagged Diesel one end , petrol at the other. If the kids are murdering each other while one goes to refill...petrol suddenly makes Diesel go like crap, blow white smoke..... and if you have a cold and can't smell the difference....

what can I say I took Dino (my wifes choice not mine) for a drive this morning and if a turbo diesel half cut ever comes up for sale PJ is going to be converted

I was looking at the motor thinking it is the same size as the Ej20 perhaps just a little wider and slightly longer but no bigger than any of the motors that are shoehorned into brumbys

Ive found everything so far but the power steering not sure where that is but it has to be under the cover somewhere.

as for fuel I worked filling cars in a petrol station back when full driveway service was part of buying petrol and trust me I know which pump is the diesel pump, if I was full of pyschotropic drugs and blindfolded with a bearded lady stuck on my head I could still get the right pump just by feel

sadly I would love to pull that cover off to have a look at the motor but Im not chancing the warranty clause at all

as for engine weight it feels and drives like a normal car Im pretty sure the engine was designed around the existing 2 litre motor

Corax if I had the money I would buy the targa Im just suprised no one has yet

and I can see this new car being my sons first car in around 10 years time

he ain't getting the brumby

Just think on... the Torque and rush from the engine gets better and better as you put the early Km's on (6000 miles ish for mine).
Now with 40,000 miles mine is happy to (if required) rev right upto the red line.
3 weeks ago a brand new diesel forester came up on ebay here it had been in a fire whilst still on the car transporter! The guy selling it said I had missed it by only a couple of hours. Engine and front end were ok.
I would have gone to the bank to buy that I can tell you!
Choice colour too your new wifey bus, she obviously has excellent taste and a very advanced understanding of automotive excellence!
