I'm new to this forum and just wanted to ask if there were any recommendations of mechanics around brisbane area for my 99 MY00 RX Impreza

If you are on the northside of Brisbane, then the Subaru shop is excellent and would have my vote. You can also check out the sponsors of the Subaru 4wd club (http://www.subaclub.com/) any of which are well known and respected.
