Works fine for me:)

The tank is the vacuum canister, good to keep as this is how your climate controls worked from factory.

The wires and relays below are for the AC - the one with the vacuum hose can be closed off and looped around on itself as the EJ won't need it once/if you get the AC connected and gassed up. I've not got my AC connected but I would like to have it, just money holds me back.

The update for today is just finishing off the little bits and bobs, like connecting all the hoses to the engine, heater, fuel, accelerator, etc, put the radiator in, lined up the power steering knuckle to get welded tomoz, cleaned up some wiring, heres a pic of the progress so far.
All thats got to be done now is, bend and weld the liberty exhuast on, fit the steering knuckle, and then the long wiat til the weekend for Dave(subarino) to work his magic on my wiring, then fire in the hall :P

Also can someone please post up a pic of where and what the hose looks like for the brake booster cause i'm confused, Thanks

Dann this is on my brumby, but it is in the exact same spot on the liberty and "L" series motor. just make sure the one way valve is hooked up the right way.

In the picture it is the hose that runs above the brake reservoir across to the manifold near the two bolt holes.

Image

as for the aircon you don't need it hooked up to run the car mine isn't in Jetcar. (eventually it will be) just make sure all the hose ends are sealed and taped securely.

Yep it creates vacuum for the booster so your brakes work easier, with out the booster you must use more force.

You should have the line still from the "L" series motor just put that back on and happy braking

For a little extra$$ Dave should wire the fans on relays for you..., So fans have plenty of power and don't let the engine get hot:)

Ok so a nice early start today,
Dave arrived and worked his magic with the wiring loom,
all went well besides for afew little things like one fan wasn't working properly so I got it swapped for another one.
But the main thing is that it's running :) Started first go, so happy
now just putting all the fenders on and tiding up so wiring,
Only Thing left to do now is sort the engine mounts out, they are original mounts so the bolt with the wedge is to short for the nut the hold nicely on so I'm thinking i'm going to get after market mounts cause everyone is saying that they have a longer bolt, Please can someone confirm this?? and if so where to I get them from, I know it's a dealer thing But which one? has anyone got them recently??

Other than that she purrs like a kitten, love it
Thanks to Everyone who has helped along the way and give moral support, Really appreciate it,

Heres the final pic of the engine bay with everything done,
