Nick's L Series Wagon

Post by HOT40K » Tue Oct 04, 2005 8:25 pm

Hey guys,

Picked up this '87 wagon for $500 earlier in the year.

Since then I have spent more $$ than i wanted too
It was mainly fixing things rather than all out modifications, but since then I decided I need a bigger 4WD coz i cant be bothered lifting this one or anything like that.
I have replaced the clutch, radiator, interior, rear bumper, put 14" sunnies on her (now with new rubber) and recently the head gasket blew in the original motor, so I bought smoov's old motor off him :D

She's going pretty good now although a Daihatsu Rocky is on the way

Since these pics I put a big 4 poster bullbar on which makes it a bit tuffer

Nice mate,

I got the same sort of thing for the same price, but it's still in the shed being toyed with... i hope to have some pics up later... i've had a set back in that the temporary motor was a little more temp'y than i would have liked it to be...

I hope the old clapped out motor i sold you is holding up enough for you to trade up to your next car.

dissapointing though you're not replacing it with a subaru.

'tis ok though, all the more to show you up in a subaru ;)

hope to get you out in the bush and experience some trail blazin' subaru action.

now to get my bloody weber on.

diesels are cool, and ima thinking about parting with my L soon. All depends on funds, motivation, and the amount of parts breaking.

Daihatsu Rocky ? There was one in circulation some years back with some real growl to its exhaust note - a Brockadore 5.0 litre under its lid !!
