Hope everyone had a good xmas, just finished a 10 hour round trip in the L, no dramas apart from that primary turbo sounding a bit duff.

Anyway, i've been inspired by that Loyale that was posted on http://www.speedhunters.com, if you haven't seen it check:

http://www.speedhunters.com/2012/12/subaru-leone/

and

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=2319484

... for the build threads. So i did a quick photoshop... I think this is what i want my wagon to look like... Thoughts?

Ultimately your vehicle. But for the sake of the question I reckon the white 6 spoke rims REALLY set the car off! But, that is my opinion and if you like these rims and want them there's really nothing stopping you from putting them on. Just that some of that p0rn factor will be lost IMO.

Cheers

That's a shame! I'm guilty for not lurking these forums as much as i should.

@elfroddo: I could keep the wheels:

There's some OzRacing Tarmacs for sale at the moment that i reckon would look amazing on it too...

Actual wheels are brand new in box...

You're all so easily pleased! Haha.

So i did a google on the starting problems that i was having, i was getting sick to death of having to cycle the ignition a few times to get it to start. Turns out the old L's don't run a relay on the starter circuit, and the old connections are common to wear and not allow enough amperage to kick the solenoid/starter into gear.
steptoe wrote:wasn't just crying out for the starter relay mod was it , like mine ?
Sounds like what you ended up having to do? I ended up wiring a relay into the starters signal wire. Starts first time every time now! <3

Yup, mine is just missing the relay mounting screw due to laziness I suppose.
Did you add a fuse somewhere for good measure ? I have taken to using Jaycars fused relays with the blade fuse sitting up high at the front of it. Mine also not missed a start since !

Actually, that's a good idea. I'll chuck in an inline fuse.

Neither! Feels good :)

We use these rims on the rally car.. they work well and are very strong for their weight.

It was a pretty hot day, but it was a good run. I think the other car on the slip was a current shape STI.

Excuse the reaction time!

you've got a good two seconds over the Wheels reported 400m for the AWD turbo Vortex.
Nice looking stance :)
