Mixed bag of emotions this 'eve as i watched the Leone drive away for the last time
Was a noble steed! No doubt you guys will see me again, i've really got a soft spot for old Subies now... Maybe a BG5? HMmmm.
Hope it'll be as great of a car to the new owner as it was to me!

At least you've got heaps of great photos of it, as I've enjoyed looking at em for the last 9 months or so while I've been on the forum.

It was out at Newbridge, west of Bendigo just sitting there. I wouldâve loved to have picked it up but I was unemployed, have too many projects as it is and Mrs El_Freddo wouldâve shot me for sure.
It wasnât in a pretty state. The body needs a thorough restoration done on it and the JDM interior didnât look very flash either
I didnât bother getting any pics wth Ruby Scoo and the GT.
Now itâs in Kerang where I reckon someone picked it up and have now realised the amount of work involved or that the engineering certification isnât valid in VIC. Asking price was $3500.
Cheers

Price is starting to head in a more acceptable direction. The problem with this vehicle is that itâs now in Vic and the certification was done in Qld - there are only a select few engineers that are recognised from Qld in Vicâs certified vehicle engineers list.
If theyâre on the list you can register this vehicle in Vic no worries other than an RWC.
In those pics it looks better than it did when I saw it. The other good thing is that the orange/mustard paint is there to seal any rust or body issues.
While an awesome machine, itâs definitely up for a restoration job. And since itâs got a super rare Japanese domestic market interior. But you could probably colour match new material to the old material and its colour.
I hope it finds a good home to settle into, rather than being bounched around from place to place. Kerang is a long way to go to look at a vehicle... itâs not exactly a five minute drive from anywhere!
Cheers

Legit the most fun daily i've owned. The primary turbo needed rebuilding when i had it, it'd get noisy after 30minutes or so.
