I thought I recognised this car, I've seen it for sale in the last week. Trying to find the ad now...

It was out at Newbridge, west of Bendigo just sitting there. I would’ve loved to have picked it up but I was unemployed, have too many projects as it is and Mrs El_Freddo would’ve shot me for sure.

It wasn’t in a pretty state. The body needs a thorough restoration done on it and the JDM interior didn’t look very flash either  I didn’t bother getting any pics wth Ruby Scoo and the GT.

Now it’s in Kerang where I reckon someone picked it up and have now realised the amount of work involved or that the engineering certification isn’t valid in VIC. Asking price was $3500.

Cheers

Bennie

oh man, that's so sad to see.

Looking rough as guts and yet somehow it's appreciating in price haha.

Price is starting to head in a more acceptable direction. The problem with this vehicle is that it’s now in Vic and the certification was done in Qld - there are only a select few engineers that are recognised from Qld in Vic’s certified vehicle engineers list.

If they’re on the list you can register this vehicle in Vic no worries other than an RWC.

In those pics it looks better than it did when I saw it. The other good thing is that the orange/mustard paint is there to seal any rust or body issues.

While an awesome machine, it’s definitely up for a restoration job. And since it’s got a super rare Japanese domestic market interior. But you could probably colour match new material to the old material and its colour.

I hope it finds a good home to settle into, rather than being bounched around from place to place. Kerang is a long way to go to look at a vehicle... it’s not exactly a five minute drive from anywhere!

Cheers

Legit the most fun daily i've owned. The primary turbo needed rebuilding when i had it, it'd get noisy after 30minutes or so.
