2004 Outback "Name here"

Well, check it out and let me know what you all think would be a cool nickname for this build.

Started with a 2004 Outback premium H6 to replace the old gen 1

it's an ex subaru mechanics car so even with high kms i have heps of trust in it.

First thing to go was the grille

Then i found a custom made 2 1/4" exhaust on egay for $100 and had it fitted for another hundy. Then came the desire for a new set of kicks so using some contacts i managed to find out just how little choice there is in nice wheels due to the offset/pcd but i feel that these wheels dont look bad at all on it

Ive also added a k&n filter and some spot lights seeing as im living in kangaroo country.
Opinions?

I have had plenty of compliments on it and also had plenty of people telling me of how i should lower it which i feel is a silly idea as it would mean i cant have as muh fun with it driving it it on and off dirt roads.

Think ill be getting some tinted brake lights for it soon to finish it off.
And im also contemplating modifying the grille to fit the spotties behind it

Wouldn't be very comfortable OR (real off road not just dirt roads) with those low profile tyres.

The new kicks do tend to restrict its speed off road.. but they look awesome.

Personally I would never fit wheels and tyres like that if I was intending on ANY off-road activity.

The tyre construction will prove that.

It looks great with them wheels and if it's just gravel roads and stuff I'd stick with them.

Yeah i just stick to gravel with them.. Ive already had to replace a set after slowly driving over a gutter and seperating the bead in the front tires

Update time, im now back to stock wheels (will paint them black once the weather comes good again)

I have fitted compact spotlights to the front for extra viewing pleasure

And also ive wanted to get new taillights for this since i first bought it.
.... So i did

They are led brake lights, and i then had to fit resistors to mimic the globes to get rid of the error on the dashboard, plenty of room to play with behind the lights

Thanks mate, He's a sweet daily thats for sure.
After seeing some of the other offroader modded subies like frugs and freddos mine seems like more of a toy by comparison.

Not much more to go till this projects done... said that afew times now

Those tail lights look good - now to tint the reverse lights

Also love the rear sticker. Those low profile tyres do set off your outback - to the point that I'd say lower it too. The stocks just don't cut it the same but I agree with others they'd be loads better offroad than the low profiles!

Im gonna leave the lowering/lifting up to the next owner.. im looking at getting cash together as a house deposit at the moment, can always buy another suby in the future when i have my own garage to play in.

Not selling it yet but after i get afew roadworthy things sorted it will be on the cards

So i didnt end up selling it, was able to get a house deposit through intense saving..
Toby at the moment is off the the road with a bad head gasket.
Im after peoples opinions here, would it be worth it to do an engine swap before selling it on to the next owner or would i be better off to leave it as it is and sell it to someone on here that could do the work and that way would know the cars history?
After ive put 150k into the odo which is now at 330k im feeling that ive had my fun so now its someone elses turn

I reckon sell it on. I got quoted 2600 just for an engine and loom about 1 month ago for mine (white but identical to yours), although it's not broken, i was just curious about pricing since she's just hit 300k.

I'm curious about where you got the tail lights and the front grill? Very interested in them
