I found this old photo stored deep in the back of my 'puter.
It was taken late in 1997 and I believe we may have been the first to use the then new 15" Superlite with 215/75R15 BFG M/T tyres.
The lift in mine is 75mm while the other 2 were either 50 or 60mm. All three had EA82T.

It is, but Randall owned it first. He built all 3 of them. It was very run down by the time I got it.. It was getting rust pretty bad around the areas where it was chopped to fit the big tyres with little lift kit.

The one in the middle is Jasons ute that he wrote off not long after buying it. I seem to recall the price being around 19,000 at the time. That is AUD not Yen. He then bought another ute and transplanted the running gear from the bent one in to the new one.

It was only a year later than that, that I had my MY sedan in there on the hoist ready to fit a 97 GTB drive train to. Randall told me it wouldn't fit and made me by an L to put it in. I went and bought one and then he closed down. Pity I didn't know a bit more myself back then. That MY sedan would have been the first one any where with a 280hp twin turbo motor.

Is that one of the utes you still have brummbyrunner? Is it the one with 4" kit now?

BTW 11 months worth of sleeps.

LOL. Looking forward to it are you? I'd like to get to one of your BBQs one year.

The white Brumby in the foreground is my good one. The one in my avatar. It still has a 3" kit and all the good bits. Might lift it a bit more soon so I can run a 235/75x15. Had it for 16 years now...

I remember that MY sedan and later the L sedan of yours sitting at the shop. I was interested to see how the install would turn out but Randall was out of his depth and really didn't want to do it. I wanted him to help me build an offroad racing Brumby back then but he was all talk.
