yes they are. they look like pug 14" steel rims.

The spec of the car is nothing special pretty much original besides the wheels and paint. But next week there is things going on 1. new wheels going to drill out a set of opel frontera 15 inch rims 2. mount the new set of MT tires 3. crank the susp front with a pair of modified struts (until i get my lift kit). Will be posting more pic for u guys next week.

That looks like a really good sized rollbar for a brumby too, where'd you get that done? Been thinking about putting one of them on mine for a while.

The rollbar on my brat came on another brat i had for spareparts, so i dont know were it came from. The new tires have arrived to my garage and the rims are drilled out. I will be mounting the tires on the rims next week heres a picture of the tires and one rim (not drilled at the pic).

Heres the new rim and tire combo on my fender trimmed rusty brat.

But don't the tyres contact the fender when the suspension cycles up?

They sure make contact but normal driving on road is no problem, have to cut my fenders more or get some lift blocks. The problem with liftblocks is that they dont pass the yearly inspection of our swedish vehicle department or whatever you call it, so i think ill go for a major fendertrimming day could also be cool. Whats the general opinion here fender trimming or lift blocks(maybe not legal)???????? I like the way it looks now with no lift.

By the way i really like the way your brat is looking brumbyrunner, the car is crazy good looking almost like a Radiocontrolled stadium truck.

How much lift do you have??

fender cutting has begun, needs just a little more trimming.

yes thanks , if you have 2 inch and 30 inch tires then i should manage whitout lift with my 27 inch tires?? am i right?? . The biggest problem now ist in the front thet sure like to rub the firewall.

You will have heaps of trouble trying to get 27" tyres to fit without rubbing. It is the biggest hurdle to running bigger rubber on Subarus. You can trim the bodywork but if you trim the single skin firewall you're decreasing the legroom and the room needed for the peddles. I know a shop that did this on their own vehicle. They cut back into the firewall to run 28" with a 60mm lift.
My solution was to move the front hubs forward.
I recommend you use at least 2", preferably 3", of body lift to run 27" tyres on a Brat. You get better approach/departure/rampover, better visability and of course it looks better. But I may be biased.
