Hi guys my names Brex. I just found your site and it has answered a lot of my questions.

My project started about 6 months ago when i picked up a rush free 85 Brumby for $500 off a work mate. The plan is to put full wrx running gear in it and give it the looks to go with the go, hence the name: BREX; mean: Brumby rex.

Plan: Stage one: Strip and prepare the car for the conversion then send it off for a little panel work and a nice new paint job to bring her back to life.

Well thats just a little intro for yous but i will try to give regular updates of what i have done.

sports or single headlight?

Im not going the WRX runnig gear but am going EJ20 power in my Brumby single headlight version i am currently gathering all the bits needed to do it in one go. Including the painting of it. Hope your turns out great too. What colour you going to paint it?

just an up date got the parts for the front end of the brumby this week and got it back on all 4 wheel so this week coming ill be jacking up the rear to have a look. also buying another brumby that is ready for the rex conversion so ill be using my current brumby as a run round when the xr is sold it also comes with a sti motor
