Looking very very sweet indeed. Its good to see the L’s being restored/maintained in such good condition.

(I was thinking about documenting mine however with yours and L Turbo’s progressing at the same time its only going to be duplication really).
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

The boost?? Well, ive since had a slight upgrade in turbos and a new set of squirters is on the way, atm its running 20psi and making around the 260ish Front wheel hores power, the dyno shop didnt have good enough straps and side rollers for it, it nearly turned out to be disaster as it nearly jumped off the side of the dyno. A vf34 sti huffer and 550cc squirters should see it into the top 10 fastest street legal front wheel drive cars in aus i hope. We'll soon see.

Cheers:mrgreen:

Glad to finally see some pics buddy!
It should go really well once you get the VF34 on it. Change the rev limiter to 8500 with the new squirters & expect some decent numbers.
Can't wait to see the end result. You'll have to let me have a steer of my old beast once it's all finished. I miss it so bad!

Another setback.....

Post by ORX-18 » Wed Nov 28, 2007 6:23 pm

Well, as the title imposes, we have encountered another setback, hopefully not a major one:(
Put the blue Beast on the dyno for a tune as its been running very rich and its been tempremental after it spun the distributor, we found #1 and #3 cylinders had about 60psi of compression, thats bad, we think it may have blown between the two cylinders as it still seems to run ok'ish
and a traet for u subaru lovers, running on 2, maybe 3 cylinders i managed to make 156hp @ the wheels lol
Will post a dyno sheet for yas

Hetic, have you not thought about ditching the ditsy and running the timing through your computer? im in the process of working it all out... the computer will be able to pull the timing out more as well.

man all i want is 140kw atw so id say you will have the inside information i need :P

what do u think it will set u back if all is bad as it seems?
