Mudrat's monsters new home... me!

Hey everyone,
Just bought a new toy to replace my brumby that was so sadly lost up the top of cape york.

Yes that's right, I'm the proud new owner of Mudrat's monster subaru!
For those who didn't catch the for sale ad here's some specs.
She's an '87 L sedan with '93 Impreza EJ20 transplant.
2 1/2" exhaust, also pod filter.
4" body lift + 1" higher King springs.
15" custom made (i think) wheels with 29" BF goodrich mudders.
Reinforced alloy bumper with apparent winch capacity. (no winch attached)
(plus the usual spotties, half decent sound system, etc.)
Took it up to double island point on sunday and had a ball, this thing goes like hell on the beach.
Front camber's pretty bad so I'm currently trying to decide which path to take to try to fix it.
Unfortunately I can't take credit for anything on the car at the moment, but I intend to do a few things to personalise it so I'll keep you all posted.
Glad to be back in the subaru business, can't wait to get out to Springfield amongst other places to really test her out.
Cheers,
Tommo.

looks like your pretty happy with it, i saw it for sale in unique cars and around the place, if only it had been a wagon! you'll have to put some pictures up of it going hard off-road. looks pretty kitted out to have a bit of fun.

Congrats.
Now, about the pics - could you post some of the reinforced subframe or whatever it was under the car that was reinforced?
Cheers

Took some photos today of the underbody. The front end ones are kinda hard to see cuz they're a little covered in grease and stuff, so it's only the rear blocks you're lookin at. Basically he's shaped and welded 5-6mm steel plate to the underbody where all the lift blocks are. Also welded the blocks to each other where they're close enough to do so.
Thanks for all the kind comments fellas.
Would love to get out to springfield maybe next weekend if anyone's keen? Luke, Yarney, Alex?
Cheers,
Tommo.
