as you all know this is bretts (BYB-01) old one. thought i'd post a few pics. Got my old roof cage on it now. thats about all thats externally different at the moment, future external plans are get the roof cage and bull bar powder coated in hammertone, build a rear bar with carrier (complete bar replacement) and get that powder coated to match. that'll be a tubular frame with checkerplate inserts

interior still needs work, (in process of sourcing) but slowly getting on top, plans are to get more gauges to fill the holes in the gauge mount, got an overhead flip down DVD player on the way, got a new GME uhf on the way, put some new speakers in the front today, once i got the rear done ill put in some 6x9's and that'll be it for stereo.

mechanically all sorted now, swapped out CV shaft today so all 4 corners now have good ones, can put your boot into it with no vibrations or knocks from anywhere so im happy bout that. I dont have any mechanical modifications in mind as thats all done, just maintain and re-new etc etc

also on the plans is a nice underbelly bash plate to cover the sump/box etc etc. probably make it of a nice chink of 6mm ali plate

gotta put the spotties back on, possibly cut out the old wheel well and install something more square to accommodate more tools, put air compressor and receiver tank back in somewhere, possibly tucked under and protected by future rear bar.

so there's an update of whats going on. I'd say she's ready for some beach bashing but ill stay off the rocky trails till i have the bash plate sorted.

this afternoons effort and newest addition. had the gps sitting round for a good year or 2, mainly inhabiting some space under the kitchen sink, thought it'd be good to mount it in the car, stole the holder off my bike, made a custom bracket and bobs your uncle. Also good for holding my phone when im using it for navigation
