Posting pictures in threads

Seeing as we have a new forum can the moderators get people who post pics to only post the link instead of the whole pic there are still quite a few people that only have dial up and this makes the veiwing of threads unnecessarily very slow, so can we have the choice of whether we want to look at the pics or not ?

If you use Firefox there is an option to not download images - that will fix your problem.
However people should be mindful of image sizes, and its not so hard putting in thumbnials either if a image hosting site like imageshack is used.
Banning images makes for a very boring forum and maybe useless forum.

I think you can set that in your own User CP.

As Brett has said if you go into you User CP then into edit options and scroll down to "Thread Display Options " and decelect show images.
