A URL is a web address.

To post a pic, it has to be on the internet somewhere. Let's take for instance the Black Box Motorsports logo there.

Right click on the picture you would like to post.

Select "Properties". A dialogue box will come up. There will be a heading "Address (URL)". This is the actual address of the picture you want to use. In the case of the Black Box pic, it's http://www.ausubaru.com/sponsors/Logobbms.jpg.

Select the URL, right click and "copy". Now you can "paste" the URL into your post. To show the picture, highlight the URL you just pasted and select the "Img" button. HTML tags (ie ) will appear around the URL. It should look like this:

Code: Select all

You won't be able to see the image in the post until you "Preview" the post.

Image

Remember, the image has to be hosted on the web somewhere before you can include it into your post. See PHOTOBUCKET for information regarding hosting photos.
