Ausubaru cookie problem?

I keep getting problems with threads either view as unviewed when I was the last to post in it or viewed when I know I have never opened that thread or that there is a reply since viewing the thread..
Bascially it just makes it hard to keep track of threads on this forum. Other vBulletin forums I use don't do it, this is the only one. I've cleared all my cookies and it does it in both Firefox3 and IE7. I'm thinking its server side ?
