wont log in??

just wasted 30 minutes trying to log in
gets to the thank you for logging in page, click here to redirect and then goes back without me being logged in

finally got in (hence how im writing this) but wish it was only 1 shot
anyone else?
is there a problem with the server?

ive treid on 3 machines and my phone so yeah not sure

What browser/s are you using have you used?

Did you have a recent java or other browser helper update?

Have you cleared your cookies, browsing history and any temporary files?

Have you checked for spyware, viruses, malware ETC?

I encounter the not logged in problem when using Opera but when I click on a thread or go to any page apart from the home page I will be logged in. (I rarely use Opera unless Ive reached my download quota for the month)

Mine does what toonga says fairly often with internet explorer but always logs in when I click on todays posts. Or anything like that

thats exactly how mine works when i dont have it automatically login for me.

Same here.. I use FireFox and when I login I get the usual "I don't have the permission" shit but like Tristan and Alex mentioned.. I just click on 'Quick Links' then on 'Today's Posts' and then way I go

not sure why it does it and I've tried many different things with no results
