can't put an ad in for sale

Hi I went to put an ad in the for sale section & I couldn't.
It said I didn't have sufficient privileges.

the main reason there are subscriptions is to pay for the hosting of the site (and to stop spammers from trying to sell organ enlarging pills or other such delightful rubbish.)
