So who is good with PHP?
As a few of you have probably noticed we are having issues with random
html code appearing in amongst the posts. I have no idea why, nor does
Paul. All we can put it down to is Firefox. We are open to suggestions
on how to repair it. Any one?

Have you tried asking on the phpbb or php-nuke forums?
I use nothing but firefox on both windows and linux as far as I know none of my posts have any html issues.
I notice when I write a post there is a tick box that says: "Disable HTML in this post" I'm pretty sure this wasn't there on the last forum, perhaps try disabling it in the admin section all together.
Just some thoughts.
Jordan.

I know what it is ... I just haven't worked out what to do to fix it.
Basically Firefox ( and maybe IE ) go into a html edit mode when you
post a message. However phpnuke only supports certain html
characters. When you're typing a message there should be a
button on the bottom "HTML" which when pressed will bring up the html
of what you've just typed and you can clean it up. i'll try and find a
way around it.

No, I am not using any code at all. I have done a bit of searching
through some of the php forums and have found quite a few other people
having similar issues. There is a fix for php-nuke 7.7 that is version
3.0. Apparently some people have had success with it while others
don't.
I have also noticed when I type in the the text box for the message
body the cursor will not start at the top left corner as it is supposed
to. Same when I use the for sale section (ZClassifieds) of the site.
I have set up another complete site on the server for testing. Even
with a fresh install of php-nuke I am getting the same issues. I
upgraded it to 7.9 earlier and it appears to have done nothing. I will
remove it later and reinstall 7.7 and try the patch on it and see if
that does any thing.
I think I will just post on one of the forums and see if I can get a straight answer about it.
While I was searching for info I came across a php tool kit. Very handy
for converting html to php and for building new modules and blocks.
While I have the window open, Stinky, what mod did you use for the
