Spiders

In the vain (dont be so fecking stupid Andy) attempt to keep the spam away I put my email addy in the user profile page and in a hyperlink and not my signature, does this free me from slurp spider bott spam inflicting attention? Jules? anyone?

sadly nope it doesn't, I removed my email and skype address for the same reason but it was a bit late and my hotmail account gets spammed rather heavily.

embed the email address in a image

Never been hit by spams on Skype from here or othersites
I feeling left out.
I think it's all in your settings but I never put email address out in the open.

What about hyperlinks then
I have it in my sig
it just says email me , so you dont see the actual address until you click it can the slurpies click and see???

yeah i would think that would be one of the most common ways that it find email addresses.
if you hover your mouse over the link it has you email address clear as day
