My PM's dont seem to be sending, after timing out while trying to send one, tryed again, seemed ok, but found it had gone to 'Outbox"
I realised my sentbox was full, so cleared it, however the pms are still going directly to the outbox and not registering as sent.

Are they sending? have i broken it?

Any divine assistence from the mods would be fantastic.

Thanks

Will

Well I reckon you won't, I'm guessing most regulars / moderators check out the "posts since last visit page" first. This is a fitting topic for the forum too, and we should be supporting the forum structure, not suggesting to people that stepping out of line will get better results. It won't.

I think PMs go to your outbox until the receiver reads them, then they move to your sentbox :?

Das was my theory as they move eventually from the outbox to sentbox

When you send a PM it goes to "Outbox", where the reciever can read it. Once it has been opened, the message then moves to your "Sent Items" box.

OK cheers that make sense, kind like a read receipt, never took any notice before, guess i was over taxing the dsl initially.

Out of intereset what happens when the outbox or sentbox are full, no go or does it override the oldest pm?

I believe you'll recieve an error message along the lines of "Unable to send message" or some such.
