Why do such a foolish and juvenile thing?
May i suggest that users not post on this thread so the person responsible does not recieve any of the attention they so obviously crave by committing such an act...

Just my 2 cents.

This is the internet. Hackers are an unpleasant presence but unfortunately inevitable. At least in this case they don't appear to have caused any great catastrophy, the data is still here! They've only exposed the vulnerability of the website.
Most half decent hosting organisations have protection in place against this type of occurance :?

'fuck you you fucking fuck'... original. its probably some nerd that lost his porn membership. perhaps one of you could hack the site (or just edit it) and create a firewall/a really long crack code that includes stuff you can't find on keyboards. hacking is childsplay nowadays (literally, my lil cuzin got into FBI... he needs a girlfriend real, real bad) so all u can do is step up the security.

is there such a thing as positive hacking?

oh. p.s. sorry julian.

true. kids now hack websites, not in spite of them, but rather as a sense of achievement. they learn about hacking, and then try the next random website.

unfortunately, ausubaru was hit.

you'll find many forums are hit with this, rather frequently.

one can try and put security updates. but inevitably, the challenge now would be for this punk, would be to try and bypass the new security interventions put into place...

a bunch of friends i have had a forum we chatted on, nothing too big. unfortunately, it too was hacked, but the results were rather catastrophic - the forums went completely down, and we lost all our data (and my glorious post count!!). Its been down for the last two or so months...

we here should consider ourselves very lucky, that it was just a minor hit!!

It was a surprise last night 8O
Was any data lost or to what day is the backup was from?
Was the hack only evident yesterday?

Reason asking, I sent a couple of PM's the day before and wondering if they were recieved?

To check if your PMs were recieved you can look in your "Sent" folder. PMs that have been sent and not read yet are found in the
Outbox" folder.
