How to change a Subject Title, Move it, etc ...

by Bantum
Ok - If you have ever found a posted a subject either with an incorrect Title, spelling error, or it is in the wrong location ...
Then can you please notify the moderators here ...
I'd suggest you give a reason & details of required changes ... ie:
This thread has a Title error : L Series Turn Indicator Fix ...
It should read :
MY & L Series Turn Indicator Fix ...
Current link here :
showthread.php?t=22371
One of the 'mods' on here can then sort it out ...
Do Note : Please be patient, it may take a while as the mods are busy too ...
P.S. - If it's one of your own post titles :
steptoe wrote:... Have found a post of yours with a lame sort of title ? It can be fixed by edit and go advanced ...
Cheers, Bantum.
P.S - Can someone make this be a 'sticky' ? please ...

I have a doozzie for you guys ...
On the main page you have two sections displaying the same info :
Classifieds :
vbclassified.php
Classifieds :
forumdisplay.php?f=52
Can we get them all rolled up into one ? ( preferably the first one )
Cheers, Bantum

Ok - this one is more of a bug with the header links in the main title :
7M-Chrom3/header_07.gif
7M-Chrom3/header_08.gif
7M-Chrom3/header_09.gif
7M-Chrom3/header_10.gif
7M-Chrom3/header_11.gif
When you click on them, nothing happens ...
Can we get one of the tech guys to sort it so that it works correctly - pretty please ...

Ok a few more have popped up :
This thread is in the wrong section :
89 Brumby Brake Improvments
It should be moved to new category in Workshop ? ( It has a Spelling error too )
or rename the 'Tyre & Wheels' heading to include Brakes ...
There are also about half a dozen other threads started in the wrong forum section by
Gazza ...

Like this one :
Brumby Gear Box Workshop Manual
Can they please be moved to their respective spots ...
Cheers, Bantum ...

It's probably due to not having subscribed to the forum yet - can't post in certain areas if you haven't paid for a subscription...

Well time has come to get a few things sorted ...
I'm looking to rename a thread I stated a while ago :
Thread :
Bantum's Brumby Sound System
link :
showthread.php?t=23077
Want it changed to :
Bantums' Infotainment System ...
Also would be good to gather a few of these together under : Restorations and build ups ...
Sub Forum :
Bantum Works
& threads to go to in it :
Might see what else can be moved there ...
Thank you, Bantum ...

On that note, anyone heard from Outback Bloke lately? The only(?) mod able to change sub forums etc...maybe time he gave the powers to someone who's around a little more?

Might want to make this thread a sticky if you can Bennie ...
One other thing that's been bugging me is the 'SUBARU 4WD CLUB OF QLD' main index - The entire section should be moved to be under 'your area' in Queensland - if possible ...
Will Keep plugin away at stuff that I find & put them in relevant section ...
Cheers, Bantum ...

Found a post that's not in the right forum :
Currently here :
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=50021
Probably should go in trouble shooting section :
viewforum.php?f=19
Cheers, Bantum ...
Add : thinking we could also relocate some threads into a new heading - like Tweety :
viewtopic.php?f=68&t=23606
to Bike projects :
viewforum.php?f=118
There's more to find ...
