if u delete someones posts can u let them no WHY u did it and WHEN u did it.
please.
obviously someone delted some of mine last night and i want to no why.
if u took offence to them then that is ur own problem as nothing ive said on this forum that i cna recall has ever been offensive to another Member.
and neither is this rant

The only replys that should be posted in someones 4 sales are relevent questions about the item , not to bag his way of selling , his price structure or anything like that ,Either you want the item or you dont , Like what has been said before about replying to peoples 4 sale posts ,if they want to sell a broken MY alternator for $1000 that is their perogitive, there is nothing worse for someone who is selling something to have people put him or his item down in his or her post .
End of rant .

i totally aggree with u there mike...i resent the fact that some ppl just keep going on about **** and all sorts in for sale posts or wanted posts...gets bloody agrivating

Also to add to the questions of where have my posts gone, every now and then we delete postings in the Classified section that are over 12months old so if you post alot in this section you may notice a drop in post count from time to time.

Yes mate you were,all you have to say is no or too pricey ,not go on about when people answer your messages ,some people have other things to do with their lives.

A couple of years back (prior to your joining Matatak) there was a **** fight over the for sales, with a lot turning to multiple page threads, the posts would often contain little detail about what was actually for sale etc.
As a result we now have the template, at the time it was also clearly made known that any BS in for sale threads would not be tolerated.
Obviously as this was prior to your being involved in the forum you weren't to know, but now you do!
To anyone that objects to their posts being deleted, or any percieved 'censorship'of the board, harden up and deal with it. The board is owned and paid for in it's entirety by Brett, and it will be run as Brett sees fit. If you don't like it, don't use the resource, otherwise toe the line. Pretty simple really.

i wuld love to argue some more as my posts were not BS but even if i did theyd get deleted.

only really started this to say that Moderators should notify someone WHEN and WHY they delete a members posts if it may be for the wrong thing.

Not pointing the finger at you, but I really don't have the time to be pm'ing people about their BS messages...
And last time I did I was accused of being a nazi.
