Wanted Section Problem

Can i ask why in the Wanted section it appears to only view the wanted posts from the last day as a default setting. Im aware that this can be changed at the bottom of the posts but every single time u go back in there it reverts the setting back to "Last Day" posts

It may be for a good reason that im not aware of. It is just frustrating to people who are trying to find an item when they know that after 2 days it's no longer listed unless everyone that views that section changes there settings.

Can someone smart please enlighten me??? *looks up at moderators*
