I too have changed since I last posted... I am no longer a 'Bum'. 6 months ago I started an apprenticeship in light metal fabrication, ie a 'sheetie'. I am lucky that my boss is a fitter so he appreciates my skills there and puts me on the lathe when he can. There is only so much duct work a guy can handle in a row :P

Please watch before posting!

IT Business Process Manager for a biotech company. My team fixes the things that are broken and tries to simplify the things that are more complex than they need to be. Try hard to get away from doing things a certain way because "That's the way we've always done it!"

Mine's changed too:

I'm still at uni... But I'm just about to finish a Diploma of Education in Secondary teaching. Yes, I know, I'm crazy - that's what my old teachers have been telling me on my rounds...

Next year hope to be teaching. About to put in an application for a job that i'd really love to have... Here's hoping!

Cheers

I'm a circus performer!

That's right, I'm not being funny. I am a full time ensemble member for a contemporary circus in Brisbane called CIRCA- http://www.circa.org.au

I am not a clown...

I get paid to train, perform and tour the world! This year I've been to; Canada (twice), U.S.A, Colombia, Belgium, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, the U.K and Ireland. I have the best job :-))

But my favourite pass time is playing with my subi, thinking about what I'm gonna do to it and looking at what other people have done to there's.

:p

BUMP for new members

i thought id update this cos my situation has changed abit.

After the global depression i lost my job and started at another smaller drafting firm, then moved on to a satellite imagery surveying position at mcmullen nolan surveyors and now im at a big engineering firm in the CBD called GHD engineers as a young structural engineer/designer and moved on from drafting. Pays awesome :)

Wow ive had 4 different jobs in the past 4 years haha. The one i have now is a career i want to push though and will hopefully be here for ages.
