The Express Rides Again!

Post by Reg Brumbys » Fri Jan 16, 2009 6:33 pm

I called the Brumby the express as a bit of a joke - about a week after I bought it the breaks failed - so I called it the express - doesn't stop.

Today pulling into work - foot went to the floor - no breaks - jammed it into 2nd & 1st in the space of about 20m (doing about 60).

Pulled up - looks like when I've put the lift in i've pinched a break hose. breakfluid was spewing out every where when I put the foot down - ordered some new hoses from Subaru and will pick them up and put them in tomorrow (doing both!)

long live the express!;)

Good work not hitting anything Reg.
Hope to see her "Stopping all stations" on the tracks soon!

Got the new hoses and all sorted.

Might have used up all my good karma points with no breaks mid drive x 2 - Third time may not be so lucky so I've got a mate of mine teeing me up some new braided ones (2 inches longer!).
