why??? why would you even come up with the idea???
This is nearly out there enough to wonder if it is a new and horrible extreme thats been manufactured by animal rights groups to gain more support?? I find it VERY hard to believe that someone would come up with this!!

I read through the website - the two great promotional events "Uworldweb" and "solo Global Sail" dont seem to be mentioned anywhere else; there is no contact name/address for this group; all photos seem to come from PETA. The holiday promotion looks ridiculous
I hope I am wrong but this looks like a scam to me - either to harvest email addresses (from petition) or steal contributed funds.
Again : I hope I am wrong!!!

Has the website changed at all since the first post here?

The Subaru Wacky Workshop -All About the WA Boys

I think that this is totally sick and wrong!
The thing that concerns me is that I got this website off a facebook group. I don't think that this practice actually goes on, I think that they have come up with something horrible for you to watch, and a weak but basic storyline to see who and how many people are animal rights activists or sympathists for marketing purposes. I find the lack of solid hard information a bit of a worry and makes me think that it might not be correct.
Or maybe something more sinister is going on and someone is trying to prejudice people against the chinese... it mentions chinese specifically......
Robert.

Oh FFS - think about this stuff logically for a second.
Who here has skun an animal (smaller critter like a rabbit or fox) before? I can tell you right now that skinning a 'cold' animal can be a real pain in the arse sometimes. Skinning a freshly killed animal is considerably easier. That being said, trying to skin a live animal would be incredibly difficult (no, I havent tried it). For starters blood would end up all over the fur. Secondly, a live animal will kick / scratch / bite etc. Ever seen someone pick up and kill a wounded rabbit or hare? They scratch like anything.
If I was killing caged animals for fur, it would be killed with a good solid knock over the head with a blunt object then begin the skinning process. Its humane to the animal and safe for the person doing the skinning.
I doubt the legitimacy of the video. Talk about a slow way for a commercial operation to be operating. You could skin many more animals quite a bit faster. I think the whole thing is a setup - PETA are notorius for fabricating crap. Either that or there are some sick f**kers working there who thought it might be fun to torture a few animals.
For the record I support all sustainable uses of wild and farmed animals including fur. Utilisation of animals should NEVER involve such cruelty though.
