This should be ok, it's not the episode and not complete, and already posted on another sight.

Was watching tv the other night about a guy in America who has made his own Stonehenge out of cars, and calling it Carhenge. It is apparently a real tourist attraction there. One of the first cars in the ground was an early subaru 2 door coupe.

Whats wrong with these people???

Yeah I saw that episode the other night while over here in the US - I was typing up an update for the offroadsubaru forum while it was on so it made the cut. Interesting the outback went the furtherest over the edge until the last car from memory, it bounced well after crushing the roof in!

Sad to see a perfectly working subi go like that...

Cheers

Unfortunately its not a turbo Outback. Americans like wanky scoops, so all 2.5 models got scoops just for show.

Suparoo, I think Toonga is right - I've noticed that there are Outbacks and there are Legacy Outbacks over here (US). From what I understand the Legacy has always been the turbo variation, initially of the Liberty before the outback showed up...

Please enlighten me as I didn't get to look under the bonnet and didn't think to check for a dump pipe from under the subi.

Cheers

All "Outback's" are Legacy Outbacks because they also have Outback Sport's which are Impreza's.

Ok, the bit about all outbacks are legacys doesn't add up. There are subi outbacks getting around here with just the outback badge and others that have both. I've also noticed they move around quite a bit between the different year models.

The outback sports - aka the impreza wagon - took me by surprise but found it cute at the same time... I haven't seen an impreza sedan of the same MY as that impreza wagon to see what they've called that one, but all impreza sedans I've seen are called imprezas. I'd HATE to see their parts book listings! I know the L's are a nightmare at the best of times but this would be uber confusing I reckon.

Cheers

I don't need to see it again! Hope someone scored some parts off it, the motor would've been shot - it sounded in good health when he let it rip!

I wondered yesterday who had the worst disorder, them for destroying it or me for being so upset about it?
