Calendars ??

Post by subybrumby » Sun Jan 17, 2010 10:36 am

I've been scratching around trying to get some calendars for this year.

Has anybody thought of doing up a subaru calendar?? A while back we had some great picture competitions and some of those photos from members would make great calendar shots.

Does subaru issue a calendar? I would buy one if it were available. Maybe one of the clubs should give it some thought.

Perhaps a calendar with members rides in action shots would be the go, with a comp for the final twelve. Each subaru action shot on the month by month page could be surrounded by corporate sponsorship and that would assist with the publication of the calendar. I'm sure they would sell ok especially since members rides would make up the calendar. Good for the sponsors and good for us. Anyone else think its worth a shot and has got the skills to get it up and running, even for next year maybe??

Well as stated before this post, any club photos would be great...need more thoughts here..

My girlfriend and I made up calendars to give to our parents as christmas presents this year. Printed at office works, with 12 colour (photo pages) and 12 black and white (calendar page) cost around $30 per calendar.

I'm sure if a bulk order was done it would be cheaper and that there are cheaper places to have it printed.

If I find time during next school holidays I will happily put one together if the pics are put forth.

Cheers,
Owen.

I had a thought of this very late last year - as I never "finished" the photo comp :( It unfortunately slipped under the radar. I believe there were 12 images in the end so the pic of the crop was already done!

We could do still do it for this year, just its a little late. Or we could get a new comp going for each month of the calendar for 2011 - pic winners get their calendar free ;)

Sound like a plan?

Cheers

Bennie

PS - pushed for time and have not read the other posts... yet.
