Used to be a girl at school I understood to be from Brazil. Only a few years ago got talking to her, not recognising her, and she didn't let on if she remembered me except for a smile that may have given it away. Turns out I have known her now ex hu$band for years and he was the one that helped the penny drop. Never saw the connection - at first I thought he was her dad. He bought her a new Porsche to help sweeten the marriage a few years ago. Turns out she not Brazilian - her boots were !!

So , have I missed something again? What is this about you minding a particular Brasilian girl TOONGA?

And Clarkey - if you are Portugese you will likely wanna continue spellling it Brasil. Try googling Brasil or Brazil spelling. Some reform was in the making Jan 2009.

my boss got really upset on Monday when I used one of her "games" in a lesson and didn't run it the way she would, even though there are no rules/directions for the game and it was the first time I had even used it in a class.

So I have to be careful what I do as Ive just got this job and Im pretty sure my boss wants to replace me with another 100 year old retired school teacher who will wear jackboots and treat young adults like small children

Good to hear you got a shot at teaching again. Can I suggest that even if you wipe this in order to save your backside it will still show in googles archives when googling crazy female grammar nazi at a later date. It is amazing at how small a world this is. From experience - it is too small for you to think your comment is safe from her.
