Fiddling with a SLA battery, an old MY lighter socket and was just about to test a path to find where 2 volts disappeared and ZAP !

Something shorted, burnt a hole in just one finger, spat a piece of molten cig lighter socket into my carpet where it proceeded to fuse itself to a few strands and set cold, black

and not supplying any pics until I surgically remove the strands that remain a little blackened.

might be a good time and place to get that coffee table I have been eyeing off
