YAY! Not. A new spammer in our members...

Post by El_Freddo » Wed Jun 29, 2011 10:51 pm

This fella is posting crap about buying crap...

Like this

Mods - I'm sure you're about to take care of them for us! I just wanted to bring it to your attention but wasn't sure who would be best to inform, so I've done it publicly ;)

Keep up the good work (mods!)

Cheers

The moderation process should include a check on their interests, if they have no interest in cars (Subarus in this case) they should be banned straight up.

I join car forums because I have had a background in cars since the age of 6 and have worked in the auto industry for 30 years.

I like to help others, I have gained knowledge in return, and I hate reading others dribble about trying to sell non-automotive stuff.
Regards

Gary ;)

From wheelpower to members
i guess if you didnt agree with my post re(products on offer) a email would be nice, then i could have removed it or moved it to your classified section!! Which was the plan after a quick introduction to your members in open slather which i assumed was the appropriate way to introduce our company
the idea was to pass on items to your members at a discounted price win-win!! The idea was from a member of yours to list items which may interest some of your members on your forum
to members who have missed out sorry but call subaru parts for inflated prices or wreckers with sub standard and damaged product

I put it to you, to maybe look at it from our viewpoint.

Your was in CAPITALS. Poorly punctuated. Post count = 1.

All signs point to scam. Maybe if you went thru 'Member introductions' worked out who was who, contacted a moderator, posted in the right section, made a gold coin donation to contribute to the community you hope to profit from(!), your experience would have been different.

Most other forums would apply the same principals for not only new vendors, but new members.

And for as inflated parts price, we have a couple of members who have established stirling reputations and look after us just fine thank you very much.

every forum Ive ever been a member of, takes a dim view of new members making an advertisment of their first post regardless of the intentions.

Clearly didn't read the terms of membership. No sympathy if that's what you're after...

That is all.

Both links are rather boring

the second link is just another get a "giant penis scam".

Im pretty sure the "member" needs banning.
