UHF channels

Does anybody know what the trucky channel is on the UHF for NSW and Vic?

Yeah well they are on ch40 here in QLD but someone told me they used a different ch once they crossed the border, just trying to confirm if this is actually the case.

I scan 29 and 40 when on the pacific.

I was stuck in traffic near newcastle once and walked over to a trucky and asked him what channels they use - 29 and 40 was his answer.

I should clarify that a bit more they Use 40 on the New England and 29 on the Pacific so around Newcastle you will find chatter on both 29 and 40.

Out our way some of them do go to 39 if they dont want us (police) listening to what they are saying as we have them fitted to our patrol cars down here. All the main talk is on 40 though.

Not a great deal. Have three other radios to listen to, (not including the stereo) so only if bored or after something or someone in particular..

Mate I also apologise about the wheels. I still have them just havent been able to get down to Melb. If you still need them, and can wait, they are still here. Work has been busy. I need a holiday..
