This thread is longer so I'm posting in here.

He will be missed for all the animal work he has done. Good thing a place like Australia Zoo is there to carry it on.

I thought you were doing a prank there Chubby..but checked the news then...
damn...he is(was) a great character,
when I first saw one of his show, I wondered who the f** was this crazy bloke...but geeze had me glued to the screen alright!
he has conquered all the pesky risky animals on land,
now trying at sea?, at 44, must've been too late to start that shit again,
so damn sorry.

Yeah bit of a shock ay, heard it once on JJJ and figured they were just mucking about, but then read about it and heard it again on JJJ. Also JJJ said in one of their news items on it that he was spiked in the heart but the stingray barb. Just seems like a absolute freak accident:(

When i was told i thought i was being played for a fool but sadly it is true. A premature end to great Australian amongst great Australians, he will be remembered for all of his conservation efforts.

Yeah
It always sucks when we lose a good man.
He did so much work behind the scenes that people never knew about.
My heart goes out to his family.

Absolutely Gobsmacked!
I always thought of him to invincible, and would never thought that he would be taken by a stingray.

My heart goes out to Terry (his wife) and his two children

He will be dearly missed
