you what? I don't know how you perceived what I said as an attack on you, because I certainly didn't mean it in any aggressive format. At least, not directed at you. What I was trying to say was, we already have exactly what this country needs to fulfill all the things which we need to do, and its pointless to hurl something like the H3 into our market.

So the H2 & H3 are as wide as a tank too?

saw a H2 some time ago, for such a large vehicle, I wondered where all the cabin space went too ? theres that massive centre console crap...ah its just a crap vehicle I reckon for 4wd touring.
Anyone notice that the USMC are moving away from Hummers...
well I guess thats why there pushing it to retail to keep their production line...
I am used to seeing American consumers buying crap...lets hope we're not as stupid as them - that masive GM Suburban? they tried to sell here a few years ago didn't work out!

The H2 and H3 no wider than their GM equivalents, Chevrolet Taho and GMC Yukon for the H2 and Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon for the H3.

Basically the H1 is a real down-to-earth truck, the others are simply pretenders. Think of them a bit like teeny-boppers wearing urban camoflage pants to the mall.
Monster Subaru sold to a good home!! Still a Subaru owner. Will try stay in the Ausubaru loop. Sorry

Check out my avitar above... or my imageshack site below... that's a H2... It was about as pimped up as it possibly could have been, crome rims and all (even a grinade as a gear knob)...

I haven't seen the pics for the car in question, but i know my dad would be drooling over one... only difference to me is that dad would actually use its weight for towing ability and other "non-surburban" duties, and soccer kids wouldn't be near it either...

On the topic of the Land Rovers the army use, i hope they're not replaced with the hummers as i think the rovers fit our purposes as they should.

Cheers

Don't the Army here use Parenties (rovers with Isuzu donk + gearbox) a-la the bush tucker man and SAS.

If any one has seen the bush tracks in Tassie you'd blush at the thought of 'jamming' a Hummer down one. A 'Cruiser just fits down them with pretty serious scrathing to paintwork.

If they sold Hummers without AC, power seats, windows, CD blah blah blah, the Soccer Moms (Yummy Mummies) wouldn't go near them. They would probably be shit in the top end too (wet season) as the wheel guards would fill with mud and get 'em stuck.
