Watched about 2 minutes of the used car salesmans review of the bmw crossover thing and put a movie on instead.

Third time lucky !

Post by OKsubaru » Tue Oct 14, 2008 11:04 am

I had reservations about the pilot episode and number 2, as I did with the first Top Gear Australia magazine, not buying more. The third episode shown last night- I enjoyed it. These gents are warming up. With regards to the BMW X6 - my sighted one today and to me it looks unusual and much like a hatchback on steeroids - but that is just my opinion I thought I would share with you, if that is OK.

I enjoyed the show whenever they weren't in the studio.

I have seen better, although I think it could slowly (very slowly) start to improve, but will never be as good as the UK version.

Yeah I thought the last episode was a bit better, they seemed a bit more relaxed.
Expectations can ruin anything though, I just wanted it to be great when I watched the first episode. And I was bitterly dissapointed.

the show is OK, but it is obviously made to sell to other markets, so they kept the formula the same. To much the same. If they made the show for us Aussies (and Kiwis) it would be so much better. Even though these guys are being told to pretend to be someone else, they have so much potental to be so much better than the poms. Come on lets see black v8 falcons in Broken Hill, and Subies on the Canning stock route
