USS Ronald Reagan
USS Ronald Reagan
Anyone know what time it is due to leave Brisbane today?
NO not at all! better an amateurish polititician, popular with the people, rather than a professional in the family; ambitious, cheating sob type, like that is there now...MUDRAT wrote:Does anyone else find it slightly disturbing that one of the most expensive weapons in human history is named after a B-grade Hollywood actor?
I believe RR made a great difference, started the end of the soviet empire by outspending them, how simple? and it worked. RR was the weapon. Of course when the spending was no longer needed, made a few detractors. Probably why they invented alqueda, alot of people have their powerful jobs again, like before when it was the evil soviet empire.......how things change...yet they don't

I'd be more afraid of the USS George Dubaya Bush, keeps bumping into things, tripping over itself, making a general arse of itself but be hailed by the americans as the greatest thing to ever happen to them.

They can bloody well take their rubbish with them when they leave!
Bags of TRASH as american rubbish is called are washing up all over Moreton Bay!
Over the side, out of mind, not our problem..
Bloody typical.
I have seen it first hand as well.
June 1997.
Sailing from Singapore to Hong Kong on a Yacht delivery and we were overtaken (42knots versus 8 ish) by an aircraft carrier (USS Carl Vincent)
We were amazed and impressed with its size and speed until they threw TRASH over the side in front of us.
Bag after bag after bag.
PLASTIC BAGS!
Continual lifelong rant.

EJ22 Dual range AWD lifted, widened and much happier now thanks very much.
1991 L Series wagon, white and perfectly normal apart from the ticking, no I think that is normal.
Jet boat..webbered EA81 with a hybrid tin dish welded and glued to it.

$30 million US each!
Boy would I love 5% salvage title on that!
Serves them right.
Karma is not just for individuals!
I am glad the pilot was ok though.
And leaving a plane there is STILL LITTERING!
It is just very expensive litter!

It happens, they still block the mesh.
It may have more to do with how much sea water they are sucking up and spitting out to cool those big REACTORS down.
Where do you think they get all that steam from to power the catapaults??
It's made of good Aussie Sea water!
