I am another who did not know EJ Ute personally but remember his identifiable username. I will have to look at his posts as I am not sure whether an EJ powered ute was his dream or he made it into a reality. Whatever the case, as Subaru enthusiasts we all have a certain bond and maybe relate better to those who run the same particular variants of our own. Those variants can and do change. As a fellow Brumby owner his family can be assured that I believe he must have been a great bloke !

Sad news indeed. I don't recall him on the forum but offer my condolences too. I can't seem to find him in the members list to refresh my memory?
