whats yer hand cleaner for dirty hands??

Post by steptoe » Wed Feb 04, 2009 9:30 pm

As a kid I used Solvol until I discovered liquid or gel type hand cleaners with or without grit, some smelling like it should be the filling of wrapped choccies. For years have used an industrial style hand cleaner keeping the pink washroom style hand cleaner for cleaner hands never the grotty stuff. Just discovered this pink stuff that can be bought very cheaply in 5 or 20 litres from certain suppliers, I go to a vacuum sales warehouse. This pink stuff is great greasy hand cleaner at a bout quarter the price of scrubbers

Wada you been using ?

truckwash is the best hand cleaner I have used. I keep a small bottle of it on the sink.

Whatever detergent is in that stuff is hardcore!

I use the orange smelling stuff, if my hands are really bad I'll spray them from a can of degreaser first :)

diswashing liquid and a teaspoon of sugar for a bit of bite
a few drops of water gets it all happening.

Nice to the hands too.

Fortunately my wife works where they make the stuff (and "vinyl shine" read armorall) and it works bloody well. Scrubber is what it is called when not sold to a distributor. Pink and gritty.

i use stuff at work called sabesto course grit or sumthing. it wreeks havoc on any stubborn grease, oil, dirt and it also gets rid of the smell of diesel and stuff. its great, would recommend it to any1 :)

Similar here, and to get rid of old petrol smells and the like I use a little "shower power" not only works in the bathroom but on my hands too! And smells quite alright.
