my parents live on Hamilton Island. Prepared for the worst but thankfully it missed them by about 50kms

I heard them say some people have been evacuated,haven't heard anything out here though.Anyway i've sent the fam to brisbane just in case.

i believe the have evacuated Fraser island and it is expected to hit Tuesday some time.....
