Did you ever see this car in WA

this is my former subaru despite the rather weird pait job the car was fantastic to drive it had 14 inch ally rims with 185 r light truck tyres all round aluminium spacers on the front hubs to stop wheel grinding a dual port dual carb import ea82 pushrod motor and a 3.9 dual range driveline

sadly I had to sell her when I moved to Singapore (we are back now for good)and she buttercup (she was resprayed buttercup yellow before i bought her) went to Lancilen to live

Ive never seen her since and would love the motor back (haha)

to put in PJ my new subaru

lol no I haven't ever seen that car around.
Yeah definitely would be better to slap an EJ22 into the Brumby!

I used to live in Lancelin & still visit now & then but I've never seen it.

Renault 5 turbo's used a pushrod engine never ever knew of the ea82 pushroid i thought it had a timeing belt???

anyway back to the topic nope never seen it....

oops sorry ea81 motor my bad (1 & 2 are right next to each other on the keyboard)

its either a ej22 or the mythical 3 litre flat six from the alcyone that Im thinking of putting into PJ

Fair enough then, and even though I am on the other side of the country, nope, never seen it and I hope I would remember if I had.

nah going to keep the brumby stock on the outside the WA police have this thing about making older model cars unroadworthy for just about any reason and I can't afford another brumby at the moment

as to why I want that motor back in stock trim I could get 100 km/h from second gear and I wound it off the clock in fourth a couple of times a rather scary but fun experience

i agree with toonga there, cops pulled me over and told me I couldnt come in town until i change my muffler back to stock... mind you, i had a 4" sports on there, but i didnt think it was too loud.
