Lift Kit In A Torana

Post by Tigger » Mon Feb 20, 2006 10:14 am

My poor little Torana scraps over every speed bump and steep driveway we come across...

My partner and I were wondering would it be possible (just thinking about it) to put a lift on the little torry... :?

In my limited Torana experience, they aint supposed to do that, Has it been lowered? or has it just sagged? Replacement stock springs may be enough?

Yeah all you should need are some new springs. Probably a good idea to replace the shocks at the same time too.

A lift kit is possible in anything. Feasible no, possible yes.

Air adjustable shocks on the back will help with back end scraping without the cost of re-doing all the rear suspension

ok i dont know the guy

but i did have a look when i saw it down the street

rear end has custom 4 link to 9" using stock torana mounts with the 3/4 chassis being continued all the way to the pickup for the trailing arms.

front looks completly custom, has big arse coil overs.
If you have seen a torana front end you would know what i mean when i say it looks likes the lot has been replaced

You could put a liftkit in a Torana while drinking warm VB cans and smoking some Winnie blues...

That's about the only way you could get more bogan I think.....

its not really a lift kit. more like a replacement front and rear end....

a guy was offroad racing a torana down here (or what was left of one) and doing quite well....

gotta admit as bogan as they are now, they where the wrx of the 70's..

:? Hell I was just kidding. I don't think there's a problem with putting a lift kit in a Torana.
