Bring back the 'silent cop'

Post by steptoe » Thu Dec 24, 2009 5:07 pm

you know, the cast iron clangers stuck on the road at intersections to discourage drivers from cutting the corner. I am a little sick of sloppy drivers.....

Yeah there are a couple here in Nambucca Heads. There is one that i'll admit that if it is early morning and nobody is around, i'll cut the corner and drive to the right of it.

About 14 inches diameter, four inches high with glass marbles (cats eyes) embedded into sides in a ring, cast iron? and place strategically to encourage tidy intersection use and discourage corner cutting.

ha ha, apparently me either. Shouldnt post before morning coffee. Here we have a manaquin ( dummy ) dressed as a cop that they put in a police cruiser
and park it on the main drag heading into town.
