Or under the seat, in the boot hole in L Series or where ever in your modern EJ powered beast.

What would you put in say one of those insulated lunchbox thingos to just stay put until one day you are stuck, stranded, hungry and thirsty (or migraine) then remember you put that box away. Food needs to last and survive a hot car.

500ml water of choice (beer has best by dates)
pain killers of choice
band aids of choice
wind up /shaker torch
spare cash
jar of peanut butter
dried fruit
hand cleaner/soap
fuses
ignition moduel and tools to fit
spark tester
lighter or matches
can opener
vege peeler
salt/pepper/sugar sachets by Mickey D's
are my thoughts

SPAM erk

What else is good durable food to last time and heat and still be safe and pallatable.

ok I would put at least 2 litres of water in my car (and I do) and the same again for the radiator

food that has a shelf life longer than roaches

beef jerky
dried noodles / noodles in a cup use by dates are for health freaks :)
those nasty ration packs the military are given
pickled onions or any pickled food for that matter
cuppa soups
SAO biscuits
ANZAC biscuits
barley sugar lollies
and type of dried bean
tetra pack long life milk

thinking of going on a journey are you

phillatdarwin I said 2 litres for me and 2 for the radiator = 4 litres

having said that if I was venturing of into the wilderness for any length of time I would take a minimum of 25 litres of drinking water minimum

sorry EDIT

Your water would be in the big bottle in the back for radiator, along with oil top up.

A cheapo multimeter, for the kit
